Awesome Ten-minute Cardio Exercise Video for Women: My Review
Hey guys! I found an awesome short-exercise video on YouTube I want to share with you. The instructor who made the video, Jess from Athleen XX for women, is friendly and encouraging. She does the cardio with you in case you are unfamiliar with the exercises.
A lot of us have busy schedules that don’t allow a lot of extra gym time, which is why I plan to start doing this 10-minute workout daily. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes last year, at the age of twenty-four, and since then I learned how important it is to eat a balance diet and to do daily exercise.
This ten-minute workout is really cool, because it requires absolutely no exercise equipment at all, and is perfect for squeezing into your tight schedule. Everyone has 10 minutes in their day that they can dedicate to staying fit. This cardio workout includes 4 different workouts:
- 60 seconds of high knees
- 30 seconds of mountain climbers
- 30 seconds of burpees
- 60 seconds of squat hops
After you do that routine, you take a quick break and start again. There are five rounds altogether, and including the short breaks, it comes to a total of less than fifteen minutes.
These four workouts are great, because the combination of the four work out your entire body without any exercise machines. You also don’t need a whole lot of space to dedicate to the exercises- just enough space to lay your body flat and move a little!
These exercises are great, especially for a diabetic like me, where I can monitor my blood glucose before I do it, and during the short breaks if I feel my blood glucose level dropping.
It is also great for anyone who wants to do a really quick full-body toning cardio routine that isn’t too intense, but also not for the faint of heart.
